Journal of Chemical and Biological Interfaces (JCBI) is a multidisciplinary peer- reviewed journal which explores a broad range of chemical and biological properties of soft matter and bio-related materials, especially focusing on the interactions at the various interfaces on a molecular level. The interdisciplinary research themes include both experimental and computational researches in a broad range of interface-related topics; self-assembly of molecules, proteins and biomaterials, molecular thin films including Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett monolayers, biofilms, biological interface engineering, surface science and nanotechnology at the biological interface, surface sensitive characterization techniques, chemical and biological sensors, colloids and biological interfaces, biological processes, physical properties of various materials including organic, inorganic, metal and hybrid materials, nanoparticles, polymers and surfactants, biopolymers (DNA and RNA), proteins and biological molecules (peptides and phospholipids), bio-mimicking structures, nano- and micro-patterning processes, computational and structural modeling approaches to chemical-biological interfaces.
