Aims and Scope

Journal of Colloid Science and Biotechnology is international multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of colloid science including colloids preparation, characterization, structure-property relationships, spectroscopy, chemical and physical properties, and applications of colloids in biotechnology. This Journal deals with interdisciplinary research areas of chemistry, physics, materials science, polymer science, nanotechnology covering all topics related to colloids including latexes, emulsions, suspensions, micellar systems, inorganics, gels, composites, hybrids, surfactants, aerosols, foams, minerals, ceramics, soft matter, surface phenomena, chemistry, formulation, polymerization in disperse media, microfluidics, encapsulation processes of active molecules, biomolecules, adsorption and loading, desorption and release, catalysis, surfacial and interfacial processes, electrochemistry, coatings, degradation, theoretical aspects, computer simulations, fluid dynamics, smart materials, hydrocolloids, interfaces, surfaces, physical properties and applications of colloidal particles in biology, biotechnology, medicine and pharmaceuticals. The biotechnology applications cover all aspect of life science such as medical diagnosis, therapy, food analysis, veterinary applications, environmental analysis, samples preparation, waste-water treatment and the use of colloidal particles in microsystems, microfluidics, lab-on-chip, biosensing, automated microsystems. Broadly speaking, this journal covers all research topics related to colloid science and biotechnology.
