| Journal of Chitin and Chitosan Science
(JCC) is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers all aspects
of chitin and chitosan based all types of biomaterials and their
derivatives, their sources, commercial production, chemical
modifications, spectroscopic characterization, chemistry, biochemistry,
biology, enzymology, polymer science, ecology, chemical and
physico-chemical properties, biological activities, biocompatibility,
biodegradability, processing into beads, micro/nanoparticles, hydrogels,
nanogels, scaffolds, sponges, nanofibers, nanocomposites, medical and
biomedical applications such as drug delivery systems, gene delivery,
pharmaceuticals, immobilization, tissue engineering, wound healing
agents, antimicrobial activities, dietry supplements, biosensors,
biotextiles, biocatalysis, cosmetics, biomedicine, pharmacy, food
science, agriculture, biotechnology, water purification, bioremediation,
environment, and other areas of life sciences and materials science. The
journal covers all aspects of basic and applied scientific research on
chitin, chitosan and their derivatives. JCC publishes original full
research papers, short communications, and timely state-of-the-art
reviews (with author's photo and biography) on all fundamental and
applied research in nanomaterials applied scientific research on chitin,
chitosan and their derivatives. The peer-reviewed proceedings of
scientific meetings, symposia and workshops related chitin and chitosan
are also published. |
